Choosing
How many MEGA BLOKS does a child need?
More blocks is not always better. Here is how many make sense at each age, and when it is worth adding to the pile.

One toddler, first set
About eighty blocks. That is one Big Building Bag, and it is enough for towers, walls and roads. A smaller pile also means quicker tidy-ups, which matters more than it sounds.
Two children sharing
Around 150 or more. The Deluxe Building Bag on its own, or an 80-block bag plus a vehicle, gives each child enough to build without grabbing.
A preschooler who builds big
By three, children build scenes rather than single towers. A 3-in-1 set plus a bag is a good mix: picture builds for focus, loose blocks for imagination.
Add variety, not just volume
When the pile feels stale, a new kind of set often helps more than extra blocks. A vehicle, a learning train or a table gives the existing blocks a new job.
| Situation | Blocks | Suggestion |
|---|---|---|
| One child, age 1 | About 80 | Big Building Bag |
| Siblings sharing | 150+ | Deluxe Building Bag |
| Age 2, loves wheels | 80 + a vehicle | Bag + Build & Race Rig |
| Age 3, building scenes | 80 + a 3-in-1 | Bag + 3-in-1 set |
