MEGA BLOKS for 2-year-olds: when the blocks start to mean something

Two is when towers get taller, vehicles get loaded and blocks start carrying numbers and letters. These are the sets that keep up.

A different kind of builder

Between eighteen months and three, building turns purposeful. Towers get counted, a block becomes a phone, and every vehicle needs a load. Children start to say what they are making, even if it changes halfway through.

This is the age our 1½+ learning builds were made for. They use the same big blocks as the bags, but the pieces carry something extra: numbers, letters or animal halves to match.

Sets for counting, letters and matching

The Build & Count Bus carries blocks numbered one to ten, so counting happens while loading passengers. The Build & Match Animal Tractor splits farm animals across blocks for mix-and-match faces.

For letters, choose between the ABC Learning Train, which is quiet, and the ABC Musical Train, whose smokestack piece plays music and sounds.

Sets for movers
